Yuen Biao is a young troublemaker who looks after his sick uncle. He dreams of playing in the local soccer team alongside the town's hero striker (Dick Wei). However, after getting a job for the team as a ballboy Yuen realises that money and fame mean that everyone's idol is accepting bribes to throw the game...


Aaron Kwok plays Darren, an up and coming police officer in China. His partner, Alex (Leehom Wang) is dating their chief's daughter played by the Ruby Lin who is an up and coming fashion designer. Tony, (Mark Dascascos) is the successor to a Chinese smuggling ring and wants to start bringing drugs in to the Mainland.


This hour and a half documentary focuses on the recent addition of the category three movie into Hong Kong cinema. Basically, these films contain all of the usual Hong Kong trademarks but at the same time push the barriers of what is allowed with sex and violence to the absolute limit.


Leslie Cheung is a junior triad who becomes a chef, gets a job in a resturant, and befriends the owner's teenybopper daughter (Anita Yuen). When an evil competitor forces Cheung's boss to bet his resturant on a cooking contest Cheung must find China's one-time greatest chef - now an emotional wreck - and get him back on his feet to save the day.


A young man is traveling the countryside on a mission to collect old debts in hopes of winning the love of a beautiful girl who abandoned him years ago. But things in the rustic countryside aren't so peaceful, for the land is full of ghosts. In addition to this, he meets a beautiful ghost who is intent on grabbing his soul for her employer.


Two disconnected stories about Hong Kong policemen jilted by their girlfriends. In the first Takashi Kaneshiro goes into a bar on his birthday determined to fall in love with the first woman he sees and picks up a blonde wigged Brigette Lin. In the second story Tong Leung, pining over his ex-girlfriend dosen't notice the counter girl at a fast food resturant has a crush on him.


Jackie Chan is 'City Hunter' a womanising private detective hired to track down a rich man's daughter. Her trail leads him to a cruise ship which is later hijacked by terrorists. Jackie and his gang of women must try and save the ship from the terriorists who are holding the rich hostages to ransom.


Chow Yun Fat stars as Liu Mu Bai a legendary kung-fu master who's sword (the 400 year old 'Green Destiny') is stolen. Its theft sets off a complex interaction between a sword-wielding warrior, his ally and a bandit. Their common nemesis is a creepy and lethal outcast named Jade Fox. Who turns out to be more lethal than she first seems.
