Jet
Li plays Tsui, former member of the 701 squad, a group of elite
professional assassins trained to not feel human emotions. After
leaving the squad Tsui finds himself a job as a librarian searching
for a normal life. However, his old team try to control Hong Kong
and Tsui becomes the Black Mask, a lone vigilante.

disobeying orders Yim Dong (Chiu Man Chuk) is dispatched to the
mythical European country of Lavernia to work for the Chinese ambassador.
There he is reunited with his childhood sweetheart (Shu Qi) and
incurs the wrath of Kaizo Misihima (Andrew Lin) who is a cult leader
from Japan.

(Chiu Man Chuk) uncovers the secret of his father's brutal murder
by Lung, and sets out for vengeance, only to lose an arm after falling
into a trap set by bandits. Nursed back to health by a nameless

are joined by brother Wong the last survivor of a munitions raid
years before . However, their newly found friendship is strained
when Tan is framed for treason by the governor and Wong is forced

to have feelings for the straight-laced hero...

Leslie
Cheung is a reluctant swordsman sent to destroy an evil cult headed
by sadistic male and female siamese twins. Conflict ensues when
Cheung falls for the cult's prime assassin, the Wolf Woman, played
by Brigette Lin. As the two lovers escape the turmult they are both
betrayed, leading to a tragic conclusion.

a white-haired witch, heads an all-female cult bent on destroying

Cheung, had come. Her own cult comes under attack by a man whose
